Forest Moon Chalet…….. "only a parsec away."
Welcome, welcome, welcome to our chalet in the mountains, a beautiful Lake Arrowhead Vacation rental.
We are so thrilled that you've chosen the Forest Moon Chalet as your destination of choice here at the lake in the mountains, and we want you to have a truly fantastic time.
A few tips to make your stay more pleasant:
Our community is a small one, and the locals are warm and welcoming as long as we respect one another's space, so please keep these tips in mind for a calm and peaceful stay.
-
When leaving the house, please make sure to touch the logo on the keypad to ensure that the front door is locked.
-
Please park a maximum of TWO CARS on the paved driveway directly out front. Parking along Klamath Drive is not permitted, and during our snowy winters, a vehicle on Klamath could be damaged by snow plows. The long, dirt driveway leading to our home belongs to our neighbors and parking is not allowed. Our lovely paved driveway is your best bet!
-
Please be respectful of our neighbors when it comes to music. The mountain acts like a bowl and sound travels. The hours between 10:00 PM and 9:00 AM are considered "quiet hours," and music isn't exactly appreciated by our neighbors.
-
Please respect that we are only permitted to have 7 guests occupying the premises overnight.
-
Pet's are more than welcome. Please ensure that you have paid the pet fee and if you forgot, send us a message and we will get this taken care of for you. This will ensure we can continue to be pet-friendly as our cleaners charge us for extra whether Fido was naughty or not. We also ask that you pick up after your furry friend both on the property and on the easement.
-
Throw trash in the bins and securely lock them. We have curious bears, raccoons and other critters with the munchies. And they are messy eaters and there may be a fee of $50 if our cleaners have to clean up spilled garbage. Check out our visitors in the video below.

Lake Arrowhead has seen an increase in short-term renters, some not so well-behaved, so not adhering to the guidelines above could result in fines between $1000 and $3000. These are issued by the County of San Bernadino to the visitors themselves and includes immediate eviction of the premises. We have no say in that matter, and we definitely do not want that to happen to any of our guests.
Should you, on the other hand, have any concerns regarding other people, or simply have general questions, please contact our guest services manager, Maria though the booking platform. She is available to make your stay the best it can possibly be.
If there is an emergency, please call Maria: 1(323) 482-0847.

SURVEILLANCE: Please note that we have cameras on the side of the house, by the entrance and by the trash. These are simply measures for security when the house is empty and to ensure that we can tend to any garbage issues, should a bear decide to raid our trash. There are no cameras on the deck, by the hot tub or anywhere inside. Your privacy is incredibly important to us.
